Thanks all, I'll be ok dunno what the story is just yet but I'll be training in some capacity today what about you!

BTW forgot to thank Ryan Horn for all his help at the meet. Guy was great. Hope i can return the favor someday.

Thought wtf should post the knee pop, hope someone learns from it. This is the real story. When you start thinking its only 1110 and you have done 1160 its no big deal, you get hurt. When your mind is saying I don't give a shit how heavy it is I can do it anyway i want, you get hurt. I preached taking time at the set up and I didn't at all. I wasn't in the right spot and kept trying to rush. You rush with 1100 lbs and things go bad. Notice I couldn't get bar low on my back and my feet were way forward and I should have reset them, but said screw it in my mind. Also when you get hurt warming up don't get big headed and thing it doesn't matter,CUZ you then get hurt worse.

This could be a few weeks or months but I will squat 1200!

at 42second bingo!

Thanks Rob and Becky.

Been yelling, pleading and screaming at HMO just to set an appointment. Still nothing and now have to wait until Monday to even set the appointment. Its really unreal. My anger is building to a point where I may need medication when I go in. This is what happens when your with a Government owned HMO (UC Davis).

My wife had 2 surgeries a few years ago because a doctors mistake, she did nothing. She didn't sue etc. BUT you can bet I'll get a lawyer MOnday afternoon. It may be a crimnal lawyer after what i do to these shit heads.

Should know what the story is with my knee monday. Its feeling better, but could be all the Flexeral, vicadin and IBU. Little worried about what the doc's gonna say. I guess most of us are to manly to admit that but I am not. Worked to hard to not be worried, BUT i don't give a shit how bad it is I'll be back faster then anyone expects. They told me it would be a year for my triceps and it was only 3 months!

Hoss,

Let's just be honest here, you'll be squatting on Tuesday...
Whatever the result is it's not like you won't be able to lift at all.
Focus on five things you have control over for now. The rest will fall into place.

So in otherwords you hyperextended your knee when you popped it.... nothing there is a big surprise. There's also nothing there that can't be fixed and that you can't come back from. You've got some great resources for injury rehab, time to use them. Talk with the surgeon, lay out a plan, and come back stronger. its going to take some time, but it can be done.

Just out of curiosity did they say anything about the degree of degeneration of the knee joint?

Well, guess I m happy but still concerned about my knee. MRI reads complete rupture of the ACL, and tears in quad tendon and Meniscus. Doctor looked at film and my knee and said that because of the amount of blood from the injury the MRI could not see ACL. The doctor said I may have partial tear of ACL, but most still intact. I also have some other degenerative knee issues with quad tendon, meniscus and PCL. He said I likely have a few small tears, none that require surgery. NOW need to get blood out and rehab.

Thats good news... I know you seemed a bit confused about the descrepancy between what the doctor said and what the image report said, but it makes sense if you consider how an MRI works. I can give you a big long doctor spcheeal if you really want it. And the small tears/DJD of the joint isn't a big surprise at all considering you are a man in your 40's who's had a long history of athletic endeavors.

The thing is now you got something good to look at with this, its time to come back stronger.

I saw you get into to a fist fight with the hyper and then a metal post. Best part is you didn't realize how dumb it was until you hurt your hand.
If this is week one I better keep my camera close by this is going to get good.
