And just an FYI: 'deload' weeks only work when you have worked so hard that your body needs the rest. if you take a week off for this and that you will feel worse. | ||

And because of this and that training has aken a bit of a back seat. but i do remember i squatted 5something for 5 raw and beltless, benched 365 for 5 raw and prolly did some other stuff 2. anyways, thanks to all for helping with the meet and making it a great sucess. look for another meet in 6 months or so. today... big gene brought in a bar that kind of looks like the efs spider bar but not really, so andy darren and i took the big fella for a ride... box squats vs. the thing bar barxsome 110xsome 150xsome 200xsome 240x5 330x5 -shoes on 420x5 470x5 510x5 -weights are based on the bar being 60lbs and prolly wrng because i dont remember well what we did due to capping plates and stuff. keeping it all still kind of chill, did this all raw and wo belt. -this bar is WEIRD, my midback is destroyed right now timed kbell swings pullups and abs. | ||

Extreme Veteran Posts: 349 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 7/29 floo press with 2 elbow pillows i cant remember x a few x some 315x5 365x3 385x3 405x1 -best floo press session in some time, a recent pr and very close to an alltimer upper sled. bandy tries. bandy flies. -then andy and i had a lengthy discussion about the importance of bicept training and how our training was lacking because of it. after pouring over charts and graphes we decided that 21s with dumbells preformed for 3 sets, due optimalness, would suit our training best. important stuff. -gymnist jessica aka cupcake trained with the group today and hit 155 on the floo press, she walked around on her hands between sets and made a very smart decisionchoosing me to lift off for her and avoiding andy's spotting sweat shower. she also joined me in the upper body sled drag but refused to take her sports bra off EVEN after Andy,who was rowing the hot pink prowler, explained to her that the sled row is european in orgin and she should honor the there wishes of their exercise being performed topless...she is a smart chick, already fits in and is going to do very very well. -good timeswith team prevail @ the reactive gym today; lots of prs, learning and offensivness. we may have recruited another crossfit chick, she went to an all christian college and makes friendship braclets...andy is going to have a field day. our numbers and weirdness grows. | ||

Extreme Veteran Posts: 349 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 7/30 speedy squats -buffalo bar, no gear or belt 3.5platesx2x8 speedy pulls -conventional 4platesx1x8 back extensions. side bends. shoulder pump. -kept it very light and easy and fast due to just getting back into things and the squatting tuesday. i had a client so i didnt get to train with the group today but know our new guy darren pulled a pr during speed pulls, mitch fixed a problem he has had with his pull and andy was just plain out fat and disgusting. he sweat so much that he kept telling everyone he was wearing a see thru shirt. he also found a BBQ place near he house and has magically gained 7 lbs since the meet...good times. | ||

Extreme Veteran Posts: 349 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 8/1 so since andy is benching like crazy i decided to start doing the workout he does at home on mondays, he calls it his 'jail house workout.' its a bunch of pushups with different hand positions, forced rapes and shankings. i did a million things with he mini band first and then did his 'workout.' it was hard. 8/2 did some back work. 8/3 am: lower sled followed by a .5 mile walk, come to think of it i have been putting in some milage walking wise over the past few weeks as i have been walking with my clients on the sled. i would bet i am good for a mile a day. pm: pin 1 pull, sumo. 135xsome 225xsome 315x5 405x5 495x5 -briefs 585x1 -belt on 635x1 675x1 725xnox2 -i was a dumb ass and took a big jump i should not have. i felt good and got 725 moving but was out of position and couldnt finish, live and learn. 585x3 -kilt. -i am also trying to figure out the whole how to work up raw and without the belt thing without killing my geared and heavier attempts, if i do them. so it will be a bit of a process and wont be perfect because it will change with every different move we preform so ill just have to do my bestest. pullups and abs. rolling. 8/4 hypers and more rolling. | ||

Extreme Veteran Posts: 349 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 8/5 smelly came down and pimped out the sling shot all day so i was relegated to helper bear, although i did manage 43 reps with 185 with a snuggie and sling shot on. 8/6 buffalo bar box squat -stuff 4platesx2x8 -all still raw and belt less speedy pulls. 425x1x8 -again raw and beltless. abs 8/7 so naturally after squating and pulling yesterday i jumped right into smelly's squat workout... squats vs. 2 blues on the tensors per side. -stuff -briefs on 3platesx2x3 3.5 platesx2x2 4platesx2x2 -took everything i had to not go up and try and kill myself but i didnt lotsa abs and hypers. 8/8 My Kaycie Bear Danielle and Spohia Ann's 3rd birthday speedish bench -stuff 2plates and 3 chains a sidex3x8-10ish lotsa tris. lotsa rows. more abs. lotsa scap stuff. more tris. more back. some mc hammer curls. | ||
