The guy with the Super Cool Manchu is Jeremy Frey, who is one of Elite's sponsored lifters (like Mark and Hoss).

As an aside, I can't believe how this thread ended up the subject of a sandy vag party on PLWatch. UPA vs. USPF. People saying that it was engineered to make Metal lifters look good and Inzer lifters look bad. Internet squat depth judging based on fucking pictures. Holy shit, do people have too much time on their hands or what? Anonymous posting on that forum needs to end, too. A bunch of freaking trolls.
I really don't understand the need to run down every fed but your own because you think that your fed is more "pure" or its judging is more strict. Using gear of any kind...single or double ply...is cheating. Get over it. Not testing means that people are going to cheat with drugs. So does testing. Get over it. There's good judging, sucky juding and biased judging in every fed. Get over it. Members of Team Super Training have competed in APF, UPA, APA, APC, USPF, USAPL, WABDL, IPA and unsanctioned meets -- single ply, double ply and raw -- tested and untested. I wish that everyone on the freaking Internet would just support the feds they like without running down the ones they don't for godsakes.

| I agree Jim. We can all vote with our dollars on which feds we like or don't like. Personally, I just want to get strong and set PR's. I'll lift wherever there's safe equipment and spotters. |

Location: Santa Cruz, CA | I will be back and training on June 25th. I am going to be doing some time in Mexico with a local church in case if you are wondering why it is so late. But I should be training up until September 1st after that so I would be more than happy squat with you guys. I just hit my first legit 705 and I am only looking up there. Too bad about Parker... he used to be strong. |
