Thanks Thad. When you have good lifters, the rest just flows.

SPF March Madness Meet 3/14/10

Well we didn't accomplish what we set out to do but nonetheless Janet still had a decent meet. Here are her numbers:

Squat
556 - good
600 - no good on 2nd and 3rd attempt

Bench
319 - good
330 - good
341 - no good

Deadlift
451 - good
485 - no good on 2nd attempt
passed on 3rd attempt

Total 1337

Janet said the weight didn't feel heavy but we made a few rookie mistakes and we will learn from them at the next meet.
Thanks to everyone who helped out today and congratulations to Mark for another fun and succesful meet.

Meet results from the 7/25 SPF 3-in-1 Bay Area meet at Re-Active Gym in Pleasanton

Squat:
551-ng (depth)
551-ng (depth)
584-good (22# PR)

Bench
314-good
330.5-good
352.5-good (5#PR)

Deadlift
451.5-good
468-good
501.5-good (10# PR)

Total: 1438 (71# total PR)

I finally broke a couple of barriers that have been plaguing me for quite some time by breaking the 500# mark in the DL and beating my old bench record of 347#. I'm knocking on door of a 600# squat and that come soon enough.

Thanks to Mark and Scott for helping me with my numbers. Thanks to the ST team for their support. And thanks to Jesse for putting on a great meet.
